Strengthens how Kenya collects climate information, measures results and shares progress with the public and international partners. The project supports clearer reporting on actions being taken, resources being mobilised and changes in greenhouse gas emissions over time.
Works with farmers, pastoralists and local institutions in Kitui and Samburu to prepare for drought and reduce climate risks. Activities include early warning systems, improved water access, drought-tolerant seeds and community-led planning for more resilient livelihoods.
Measures economic and non-economic climate loss and damage across all 47 counties for 2015–2025 and develops Kenya-specific projections to 2035. The findings will strengthen planning, budgeting, recovery, and access to loss and damage finance.
