Wanjuhi Njoroge is a climate activist and entrepreneur from the foot of Mount Kenya. She has been leading community development projects since 2015.
In 2020 she set up People Planet Africa, an enterprise assisting organisations, government, and communities to prioritise the planet. Wanjuhi believes that climate issues must be addressed deliberately and inclusively.
She is passionate about community education, awareness creation, and women’s knowledge in climate issues. In 2017, she established a library in her village to support local farmers as they move towards more sustainable farming practices.
In 2019 she joined the Kenyan national chapter of the African Women Leader’s Network, an action-oriented movement of African women leaders working to transform peace, security, and development outcomes across the continent.
