The Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Dinara Kemelova, Special Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on the Mountain Agenda, to strengthen cooperation on climate action for mountain countries.

The discussions underscored the importance of international partnerships in advancing climate resilience, protecting vulnerable mountain environments, and promoting sustainable development.
The meeting further reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment to strengthening global cooperation on climate change and ensuring that the priorities and vulnerabilities of mountain countries are reflected in international climate action.
